ICE BOWL 2004 -
January 17th, 2004
Ice
Bowl 2004 will be held at Winthrop Lakefront on January 17th,
2004. 2 rounds at the lakefront will be played,
the cost is $20. Mulligans can be obtained, 1 mulligan per
can of food. You can purchase 18 mulligans per round. A total
of 36 mulligans can be purchased. If you have more cans than
that you can always give them to a fellow player to allow them
to purchase mulligans. This year we will be playing to raise
money for the South Carolina Special Olympics and food for
Pilgrims Inn. Photos of the 2003 Ice Bowl are below.
A
few years ago we had an event at the Ice Bowl called World's
Longest Hole. We started from the teepad of hole
8 (lakefront course) played up 8, accross the road, down
Gold course 5, across the field past gold 7, through gold
8, 9, 10, across the road onto hole 11, and finished at Hole
11's basket. We may partner it with a round of Safari Golf,
5 or 6 holes around the lakefront. We
are contemplating doing this as a fund raising event this
year to raise money for our new 18 hole course at Boyd
Hill Recreation Center.
